Associate Director

India works with clients looking to convene debate and discussion, advising on events and programming.

India is an Associate Director at Global Counsel. She joined GC from HM Treasury and has also worked for a large professional services firm and UK trade association covering policy, communications, events and corporate affairs.

At GC, India supports clients with convening events with impact, from event conception and programming to delivery; developing advocacy strategies to support business and social impact clients to strengthen their political brand; GC external affairs and corporate strategy, including contributions to firm’s executive committee on special projects.

Recent examples of her work include:

  • Convening thought leaders for a two-day summit on geopolitical risk and impacts on multinational businesses  
  • Project management of key accounts with multi-market workstreams and cross-GC client teams
  • Running GC’s Social Impact Programme, delivering for a diverse set of clients, including a Berlin-based social enterprise working to end gender-based violence, a social impact investor encouraging investments into the Amazonian bioeconomy and a UK campaigning organisation seeking to close the gender pay gap associated with maternity & childcare.
